Position: School Psychologist in Corbett School District Program: Special Education Department: Student Services for Multnomah Education Service District Reports to: Program Administrator Classification/Range: Licensed, Represented Schedule: 200 days per year, 8 hours per day

 

POSITION PURPOSE: This position is responsible for evaluation of referred students for special education, participate in the evaluation planning activities, participate in team decision-making processes and provide psychological services, counseling services, and educational services in academic and social/behavioral counseling. Assists students in dealing with special needs as well as the development of personal/social behaviors.

The work is performed primarily indoors with some requirements for outdoor supervision and activities. The individual is required to frequently stand, walk, and sit (up to 4 hours per day). The individual is also required to stoop, kneel and crouch. There is occasionally reaching and lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds.
